As a Person-Centred Counsellor

Person-Centred Counselling is a compassionate approach that treats each client as the true expert of their own life. My role is to create a warm, non-judgmental, and supportive space where you feel genuinely understood and accepted. Instead of giving advice, I listen closely and encourage you to explore your own thoughts and feelings, helping you uncover insights and empowering you to make meaningful changes at your own pace.

Working with Faith

For many, faith is a central part of how they understand themselves and make sense of the world around them. Yet, there can often be uncertainty about whether this deeply personal aspect of their experience can be brought into the therapeutic space.

Faith, at times, can also feel confusing or even painful, leaving you feeling isolated in your journey or disconnected from your spiritual community.

I deeply value the importance of honoring your faith and integrating it meaningfully into our work together. With training and experience in spiritually integrative approaches, grounded in Person-Centred Counselling, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore and incorporate your spiritual beliefs and practices, should you choose to do so.

If you have questions or would like to discuss how this might work for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

My Credentials

I trained with Network Counselling and Training in Bristol and hold an Advanced Diploma in Counselling.

I undertake regular professional development and supervision to ensure that I support my clients in the most ethical and meaningful way whilst ensuring the highest standards of care. I am a member of the NCPS and hold full professional liability insurance.

New to therapy?

Many people enter the counselling space unsure of what to expect, or what to say and feel they ought to 'do it right' without knowing what that looks like. It can feel strange and vulnerable to share your thoughts and emotions, especially if it is something you have never done before.

Counselling can be a refreshing place of refuge to explore your internal world without the pressure of others opinion’s. The companionship of the therapist can offer comfort and clarity when stepping into unknown territory.

Be assured that there is no perfect way, and I will endeavour to support you to explore the deeper parts of yourself by creating a compassionate and confidential space that goes at your pace. No issue is too big or too small, so do get in touch.
